We recently collaborated with local jerkin crew the backpack kidz to create some promotional imagery for a handful of their upcoming shows. Below is a few samples of the stills we created in addition to the motion piece that is in the editing process as we post this. Huge THANKS are in order to Orbit Studios, Humble Monkey Productions and Flashlight Photo Rental. Were looking forward to many more collaborations with all of these good people in the near future!

With this recent motion project we collaborated with the candy store Sugar Sugar and 3 year old Laila Totushek. Both of them were wonderful to work with and I can’t thank them enough for there hard work and graciousness. Enjoy!

The Communication Arts photo annual is now online and the print edition should be on newsstands after the holiday weekend. I will be celebrating one of my favorite holidays as well as the fact that my tram series from Budapest, Hungary is included in this years collection of imagery. Please take a moment to have a look and enjoy our own nations independence over the long weekend.

I’m a pisces, and even though I don’t follow all the beliefs behind one’s astrological sign. I do know that I love the water and most pisces love the water as well. Therefore, I was quite excited about the underwater test we put together last weekend. With the help of Shelter Studios and a fantastic crew we were able to come away with some exciting imagery for our recent lifestyle portfolio.

After two years of perfecting the craft of making images on the I-phone. I have created a tumblr blog to keep a daily journal of the precious shots created with the camera I keep in my trusty pocket. I never thought I’d so excited about such a thing. Check it out here. FLIRTIN-WITH-LIGHT

With this recent motion project we collaborated with the women of D-Fab! Between our unique location and D-Fab’s enthusiastic participation we were able to come away with a nice piece. Our industry is beginning to use these motion projects in new and very exciting ways. I’m definitely looking forward to being apart of this new model in our field.

I’m very excited about the development of our motion section on the website and our recent motion projects in general. There are a few live on the site and a few in production right now. Including one this weekend in collaboration with one of the coolest shops in the twin cities. Receiving some national attention as well.
